Having had the chance to meet Tinuke earlier this year, founder of Motherhood platform Mums and Tea, we have been able witness a sisterhood grow continuously. Previously working in HR before giving birth to her son, Tinuke had no idea what an amazing platform she was about to create. Becoming a parent made her realise a different type of love, care and attention, one that she felt no body else could give her child. So she took matters into her own hands by deciding she did not want to return to work and was going to find a way to work for herself which also allows her new responsibility as a mother to work around this. Mums and Tea now throws regular events and meet ups, as well as teaming up with other entrepreneurial mothers to collaborate and offer their services. Futhermore, Tinuke has recently launched a Mumbership card which offers exclusive discounts for products and services which we think is such a great initiative because, let's be real - we all want to save a bit of money!
And to learn how to save more of that coin, do join Mums and Tea at their next event 'Let's Talk Finance' and purchase your tickets here - it's going to be great! Girls In Power had the chance to have a chat with Tinuke earlier on in the year as we sat down and spoke about how to balance motherhood with being a self made entrepreneur.
We just wanted to take the time out to thank you for supporting us over the last year and we wish you all the best for 2019!
